NEVADA CITY, Calif. May 28, 2019 – The featured topic of the June Community Support Network Partner Meeting will be Disaster Preparedness for Families: A Panel Presentation.
The presenters will be Jeff Pettitt, Nevada County Office of Emergency Services; Pascale Fusshoeller, Editor of YubaNet; and Chris Espedal, Nevada County Superintendent of Schools. All three presenters are key leaders in Nevada County for preparing for and responding to disasters.
Attendees will learn how to better prepare for disasters, such as wildfires and floods and how to assist families they serve with appropriate disaster planning.
The meeting will be Wednesday, June 5, 3:30-5:00 p.m. in the Gene Albaugh Community Room at the Madelyn Helling Library, 980 Helling Way, in Nevada City.
