Although I did not win the election for Grass Valley City Council, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who supported me throughout this journey.

To everyone who voted for me, encouraged me, volunteered their time, helped with my campaign, put up signs, or simply offered a kind word of support, I am truly grateful. Your friendship, encouragement, and belief in me mean more than you know.

One of the greatest blessings of this campaign was getting out and going door to door, meeting so many wonderful people in our community. I had the opportunity to shake hands, listen to your concerns, hear your stories, and get to know people I might never have met otherwise. Those conversations meant a great deal to me, and I will always be thankful for the kindness and respect you showed me. Regardless of how you voted, I am grateful for the opportunity to have met you.

I’ve called Grass Valley home for nearly 40 years, and this community has given me so much. I’ve spent much of my life trying to give back, helping troubled youth, working with people struggling with addiction, and serving those who need a second chance.

Just because I didn’t win an election doesn’t mean my commitment to this community has changed.

I will continue doing what I’ve always done: helping people wherever I can, standing up for what’s right, and working to make Grass Valley a better place for our children, families, and future generations.

I also want to congratulate those who were elected. I wish them success, and I hope we can all work together for the good of our community.

I believe God has a purpose for each of us, and whether I’m serving in an elected position or simply helping a neighbor, my purpose remains the same.

My service to this community didn’t begin with this campaign, and it certainly won’t end with this election.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. God bless you, and God bless Grass Valley.
