Eskaton Village in Grass Valley has graciously offered to put on a fundraiser Lasagna dinner benefiting Sierra Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired. In addition to Lasagna, Eskaton will be serving salad, vegetables, bread and dessert. There will be a door prize, and a raffle comprised of local businesses and restaurants.

Sierra Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired is a non-profit that has been serving individuals with vision loss in Nevada and Placer counties with medical transportation, peer groups, education and advocacy for the individual and their families. Unfortunately, they are the “best kept secret in town”. The work they do for those with vision loss in our community helps them to harness independence and remain active. Some in the community are amazed that Sierra Services has been doing this for 44 years. There is no charge for their services.
Eskaton Village Grass Valley offers an idyllic environment for seniors looking for a place to live where they can stay active and foster their creativity. Eskaton Village Grass Valley offers a variety of residence options and programs that promote independence while also providing residents with access to a wide range of supportive assisted living and memory support services as needed.
