July 24, 2019 – Hot temperatures are expected across interior NorCal through the weekend. Hottest temperatures expected Saturday & Sunday with Valley temperatures 100-110 degrees.

Overnight temperatures Saturday night will only cool to 67-77 degrees, which will not provide much relief from the heat.

An Excessive Heat Watch is in effect for Saturday & Sunday.

Monsoon moisture could make its way into NorCal today and tomorrow, creating a very slight chance of thunderstorms over the higher elevations of the Central Sierra. However, most storms are expected to remain south and east of our forecast area.
