Nevada City, Calif. October 10, 2016 – Nevada City K9 Officer Rüdiger will be hosting the final Rüdiger Tuesday of the year on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. We invite you to join us at Golden Era from 5:00pm until 9:00pm to enjoy delicious cocktails and ambiance, meet and interact with Rüdiger and learn more about this 100% community funded Police K9.
As the holidays approach, Rüdiger will be taking the months of November and December off from his social duties in order to allow Golden Era the opportunity to host private holiday parties on what has been deemed Rüdiger Tuesday, the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Look for the return of this tradition in the coming year.
Since the beginning of 2016 Golden Era Cocktail Lounge, normally open Wednesday through Sunday, has opened monthly on the second Tuesday to host the fundraising event Rüdiger Tuesday. Proceeds from special Rüdiger inspired cocktails help support the Nevada City K9 Program. To date, proceeds from Golden Era’s now famous Rüdiger and Smoky Rüdiger cocktails have covered the expense of monthly K9 training.
The community supports Rüdiger through fundraising events like Rüdiger Tuesday. In addition, Western Nevada County K9 Association was formed to provide ongoing support the Nevada City K9 Program. 100% of all donations go to fund K9 Officer Rüdiger.
Rüdiger will be on the streets as usual with his human partner, Officer Goin, throughout the months of November and December, where he will make appearances at Victorian Christmas. Rüdiger will be at the Firehouse on Broad Street during holiday street fairs.
