October 6, 2019 – The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from late Tuesday night through Thursday afternoon.

Affected area includes the northern Coastal Range and foothills, the Sacramento Valley, and the Northern Sierra Nevada and foothills below 6000 feet.

Wind: North to northeast wind 10 to 20 mph with gusts 25 to 35 mph, local gusts up to 45 mph.

Humidity: Daytime minimum humidities mainly in the teens with poor overnight recoveries of 25 to 35 percent Wednesday night.

Highest Threat: The northern Coastal Range and foothills, the Sacramento Valley, and the Northern Sierra Nevada and foothills below 6000 feet.
