Want to learn about local birds?

Ever wonder about that bird tapping on your trees (or house), which birds are eating at your bird feeder, or what the large blue colored birds with the black top-knot are called?

Our new Sierra Foothills Audubon Family Friendly Event will focus on local backyard bird species. We’ll help you to identify familiar birds by their markings, songs, and behaviors. There will be resources, apps and handouts to further your enjoyment of birds.

You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and share your stories about the birds you see and hear. You can help yourself and help your family develop their sense of wonder and their knowledge about some of the wonderful wild creatures that live close by.
