Talk with staff and learn how you can connect with other people who are yearning to express themselves through acting, video, music, art, writing and other outlets. As part of its Grand Re-opening, NCM is offering a variety of in-person gatherings to get your creative juices flowing and jump-start the projects that you have dreamed up during the isolation of the pandemic. Here are just a few.
Music and Songwriters Workshop, 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 9: Become a better composer! In these monthly meet-ups, musicians of all ages will collaborate on projects, leading to an album. NCM membership is not required. This is a monthly gathering.
Casting Call, 12 to 4 p.m. Monday, March 14: NCM is always looking for individuals who want to participate in a variety of projects. From monthly talk shows to PSAs.
Walk in any time from 12 to 4 p.m. for a test screening and chat.
Eddie the Elf’s Cottage, 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 15: Help recreate the cottage of Nevada County’s famous elf for a fundraising event in December. This is our first planning meeting.
