January 6, 2017 – County of Nevada Transit Services has received a Low Carbon Transit Operations Program (LCTOP) air quality grant that provides public transit funding assistance for projects that help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve mobility. To support this objective Gold Country Stage will provide SYSTEM WIDE FREE FARE DAYS ON ALL ROUTES January 12-14, 2017.

All Routes will be operating their normal schedules, days and times, from 5:50 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12th and Friday, January 13th.    Then on Saturday, January 14th 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with free fares for all.

For folks traveling to the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, use local routes to film festival venues in Nevada City and Grass Valley. Route 1 runs between Nevada City and Grass Valley every hour, plus connections to all other routes!
