August 23, 2019 – On 8/23/2019, at approximately 4:40 PM, Grass Valley Area CHP officers were dispatched to a report of highway violence. The victim was contacted and related that while she was driving northbound on SR-49 near Combie Road, she was involved in the road rage incident. After the victim passed another vehicle using the fast lane, the suspect, driving a white minivan with disabled license plates, intentionally moved into the fast lane and collided into the victim’s vehicle. Both vehicles continued on northbound SR-49. As the victim was turning onto Alta Sierra Dr, the suspect pulled alongside the victim, rolled down his window, and began yelling. While yelling at the victim, it is believed that the suspect brandished an unknown type/caliber handgun before driving away.
The suspect’s vehicle was described as a white minivan with disabled plates and a pink and blue sticker on the back. The suspect was described as an older white male with a brown beard and “scraggly” brown hair.
