GRASS VALLEY, Calif. February 24, 2017 – On February 23rd at approximately 5:00 PM a male victim came in to the Grass Valley Police Department and reported that he had been held against his will, assaulted and tortured for the past two days.
The incident reportedly occurred at a residence in the city of Grass Valley. Detectives from the Grass Valley Police Department’s SRU assisted by detectives from Nevada County Sheriff’s Department initiated an investigation given the seriousness and complexity of the allegations.
Their investigation has initially led to the arrest of two suspects, Layla Callahan (22) and David Munoz (25). The victim was later treated and released at the hospital for injuries he sustained during the incident.
