Last year was the first time staging this unique event here in Nevada County. All the participants raved about how fun and different it was and “Please do it again next year!”
The second annual Hillagains Hundred Women’s Relay will be held on the Nevada Union Track on Saturday June 21st from 8 am until Noon. The Relay is an event empowering women and girls to WALK or RUN four laps on the track. Registration is required online at hillagainshundred.org.
Register by June 2nd to receive an exclusive event shirt. Registration closes on June 13th. Participants pick a time slot they would like to walk or run their mile. Radius Physical & Sports Rehab & Anytime Fitness will have activities on the field. And Coco’s Candy & Creamery will be there with some yummy treats. There will also be a booth honoring women who have made a difference in the sport of track and field.
Registration fee is $25 (which includes a racerback shirt and other surprises). Hillagains Hundred Women’s Relay is a fundraiser for Community Beyond Violence and Bright Futures for Youth, Safe Program.
This is not a race! but a chance for you to enjoy being active with other women & girls while making a difference for these nonprofits.
