Grass Valley, CA – Hospice of the Foothills, a highly-rated nonprofit organization is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Reed Dopf as its new Medical Director, effective July 31st. This transition follows the retirement of Dr. Rene Kronland, who served with dedication for 16 years.

Hospice of the Foothills Executive Director, Heidi Wingo states, “Dr. Dopf has been an invaluable part of our team as Associate Medical Director for over 13 years, and we are thrilled to see him step into this expanded role. He has come to deeply love this community, and will build closer relationships with other providers in town, as well as with our donors and community members.”

Dr. Dopf is a distinguished board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Dopf completed his medical training at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, has spent 14 years serving as a clinician, educator, administrator, and business owner across California and Northern Nevada. With his extensive background and dedication to patient care, he has earned a reputation for excellence in his field.
