Nevada City, Calif. February 25, 2017 – Following up on a historic turnout one month ago, Indivisible Women of Nevada County hosts its next team meeting this Sunday, February 26 1-4pm at Miner’s Foundry, in Nevada City.  After the surprise, standing-room only turnout of 350 women at Valentina’s in January, the community activist group has grown to over 2,100 women members since December.

This meeting will be a chance for new and current members to learn practical, everyday tools on how to make real change in their civic government.  This women’s only group is inspired by the Indivisible Guide, an activist guideline created by Congressional staffers who recommend successful tactics to create political change. In only a few weeks, the Indivisible movement now has more than 5,000 active groups with at least two in every Congressional district in America.

The meeting is free and open to all women of all levels of interest.  Activities will include those brand new to activism, as well as breakouts for those who want to dive deeper.

Childcare will be available by donation. For more information go to www.IndivisibleWomen.org
