For more than 35 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving our community as a teacher, coach, athletic director, and educational leader. Throughout my career, I’ve learned that strong relationships are the foundation of successful schools. When students feel valued, educators are supported, families are engaged, and communities work together, everyone benefits.

Jeff Dellis

Today, I serve as Nevada County’s Career Technical Education and Youth Leadership Development Project Coordinator, partnering with local school districts, Sierra College, businesses, nonprofits, and county agencies to expand internships, career pathways, and real-world learning opportunities for students.

One of the most rewarding parts of my work has been helping establish and lead the Nevada County Youth Commission, where students learn about local government, develop leadership skills, and serve their communities. This experience reinforced my belief that when we invest in young people and listen to their ideas, they rise to the challenge.

If elected, I will strengthen partnerships among schools, families, educators, students, and community organizations. I am committed to thoughtful leadership, responsible stewardship of public resources, and ensuring every student has opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed. It would be an honor to serve the community that has given so much to my family and me.
