September 25, 2020 – Questions about election security and the election process in Nevada County are answered in an online interview with Gregory Diaz, Nevada County Registrar of Voters, and Natalie Adona, Assistant Registrar. Sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Western Nevada County, the hour-long interview can be viewed on Nevada County Media’s Government Channel on YouTube.com or linked through the League website, lwvwnc.org.
Also available to view are the League’s series of candidate forums for four local offices: Grass Valley City Council, Nevada City City Council, Nevada Irrigation District Board of Directors, and Nevada County Board of Education. Each of the forums is posted on YubaNet’s YouTube page, with links at lwvwnc.org.
All of the candidates running for each office participated in the forums, which are ninety minutes long. Each includes short statements from the candidates as well as their answers to questions posed by local media representatives and the public.
Nonpartisan video presentations on each state ballot measure, created by the League of Women Voters, will also be available beginning September 28, through links on lwvwnc.org.
