The League of Women Voters of Nevada County encourages all eligible voters to prepare now for the June 2 Primary Election by learning about the candidates, checking voter registration status, and making a plan to vote.
To help voters make informed decisions, the League has hosted and recorded a series of nonpartisan candidate forums featuring candidates for local, state, and federal offices. Watch the forums online at:

- The last day to register to vote is Monday, May 18
- Register to vote or check registration status at California Secretary of State Elections

- Vote by mail early to address new postmark rules. The postmark no longer reflects the date when the mail is deposited at a local post office but at a regional processing center. Nevada County mail is processed in West Sacramento.
