February 3, 2020 -The last of its five candidate forums leading up to the March 3 Primary Election will be sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Western Nevada County, a nonpartisan organization, on Thursday, February 6 at the Eric Rood Government Center in Nevada City. The forum is for candidates running for California State Senate, District 1.

The forum will be live-streamed through Nevada County Media channel 17 and on the Nevada County Media Facebook page, and will be available following the forum on the Nevada County Media Government Channel on YouTube.

Questions to the candidates are provided to the moderator alternately from the audience and from media representatives from The Union, YubaNet, KVMR, and KNCO.

No campaigning is allowed by the candidates or their campaign teams, and the League requests that audience members refrain from wearing campaign clothing, buttons, or hats.
