March 12, 2020 – The League of Women Voters of Western Nevada County has postponed its “Fair Elections: Threats and Assurances” program, which was to be held on Saturday, March 14.
The League has also postponed its other spring public events: April’s Second Saturday program and its Constitutional Challenge fundraiser, which had been scheduled for May 1.
“We’re planning to reschedule these events to the late summer or fall, and will announce those dates as soon as possible,” said Janice Bedayn, League President.
“Because of the current health concerns, we feel it is prudent to support our community’s efforts to keep everyone well by avoiding gatherings that bring people in close proximity to each other.”
