GRASS VALLEY, Calif. December 12, 2019 – In two unique programs this December, the Nevada County Community Library is celebrating the rich Cornish history of Nevada County.

On Friday, December 13th, the library will have a pop-up at Cornish Christmas in Grass Valley featuring books on local Cornish history and December holidays. Attendees to the event are invited to sign up for a library card, check out books, and participate in a free craft!

On Friday, December 20th at 2:00pm, stop by the Madelyn Helling Library for a celebration of our local Cornish Choir. The Cornish Choir will perform at 2:00 p.m. in the Gene Albaugh Community Room followed directly by a viewing of Huell Howser’s California’s Gold Cornish Christmas episode.

These programs are open to all ages and are entirely free!
