April 21, 2017 – Do you know a Teen Scientist, Techie, Engineer, Artist, or Mathematician?  Eighth to twelfth graders can apply now to be a Teen-in-Residence this summer. They will work with the Youth Librarian to develop a one hour program for kids or teens to teach what they know or create a display about their favorite subject between July 3rd and August 5th.

Teens-in-Residence will get $50 to spend on supplies, and volunteer credit.

Schedule of theme weeks:

  • Science week July 3rd – 8th
  • Technology week July 10th – 15th
  • Engineering week July 17th – 22nd
  • Arts week July 24th – 29th
  • Math week July 31th – August 5th

Programs can be held at any time during your specialty week.

The application can be found at the library, and is due May 1st to any branch of the library, or email it to lisa.nowlain@co.nevada.ca.us
