According to the National Weather Service in Sacramento: Extreme heat impacts are going to continue through Wednesday across much of NorCal. High temperatures will remain well into the triple digits and we will see little relief from the heat overnight as overnight lows remain hot. With this long duration extreme heat event, significant heat impacts are expected for the general public, especially for those sensitive to the heat, pets, and livestock. While the return of the Delta breeze late Wednesday will begin a slight cooling trend, there will be a brief period of elevated fire weather concerns on Wednesday afternoon and evening. Renewed warming trend over the weekend and into next week will bring back the moderate to high heat risk.
