September 23, 2016 – High pressure developing to the north will increase north to east winds starting Saturday night and continuing for periods through Monday morning.

Poor RH recovery and low daytime humidity coupled with these winds will enhance fire danger across the northern mountains and west slope of the Sierra.


Increased fire danger with potential for rapid fire spread across the mountains and foothills, and northern Sacramento Valley.
