March 22, 2018 – The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued an Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for:

Southwestern Tuolumne County in northern California.
Northeastern Sacramento County in central California.
Northeastern Stanislaus County in central California.
Northeastern San Joaquin County in central California.
Southwestern Placer County in central California.
Western El Dorado County in northern California.
Calaveras County in northern California.
Southeastern Butte County in northern California.
Northeastern Yuba County in central California.
Amador County in northern California.
Southwestern Nevada County in northern California.

* Until 5:15 PM PDT Thursday

* At 11:13 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in the advisory area. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen.

* Numerous flooded roadways and local streams have been reported, including mudslides and downed trees on roadways.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include: Folsom, Rocklin, Galt, Auburn, Grass Valley, Placerville, Sonora, Jackson, San Andreas, El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park, Paloma, Fair Oaks, Rancho Cordova, Lincoln, Lake Of The Pines, Ione, Lake Wildwood, Loomis and Rancho Murieta.

Additional rainfall is expected over the area, which could result in more flooding.
