Nevada City, Calif. — On September 11, 2024, the City Council for the City of Nevada City referred a pending update to the Nevada City Nuisance Ordinance to the City of Nevada City Economic & Community Development Committee to conduct a community workshop and solicit stakeholder input on the topic. The committee called for an October 28, 2024, Community Workshop on Chapter 8.04 of the Nevada City Municipal Code with Regard to Nuisances.
The Committee meeting is scheduled for 6:00pm Monday October 28, 2024, at City Hall 317 Broad Street, Nevada City, California 95959.
The Committee will receive a presentation on the current ordinance and proposed changes that have been considered by the City Council and referred to the committee which will ask for comments and input from all interested parties before considering any recommendation for future consideration of the City Council.
The agenda and packet for the Committee meeting will be posted October 25, 2024, on the City’s website at: https://www.nevadacityca.gov/agendacenter and will be available at City Hall for review.
