Susan also oversaw the development of a Transit Services Bus Driver Trainee Program and was a part of the development, construction and opening of the Tinloy Transit Center.
During her tenure, Susan actively partnered with County departments, community agencies and organizations to support transportation access and independence, especially for the elderly, persons with disabilities and disadvantaged populations. She also attended the Emergency Management Institute, Integrated Emergency Management Course in Emmitsburg, MD with 59 other Nevada County employees.
Throughout her service as Transit Services Manager, Susan has been a tremendous leader to the Transit Services/Gold Country Stage team and County staff have enjoyed working with her every day.
Therefore, the Nevada County Board of Supervisors thanks Susan Healy-Harman for her years of dedicated service and leadership and wishes her a wonderful retirement.”
