Nevada City, Calif.February 1, 2021 – The Nevada County Community Library launches a new mobile app on February 1, 2021 that gives library users fast and easy access to an array of library resources. The app provides a simple and streamlined interface to search the library catalog, place items on hold, check due dates, and renew items.

The free app also serves as a one-stop entryway to several of the libraryโ€™s most popular online services for ebooks, downloadable audiobooks, digital magazines, and streaming videos. Users can stay connected to the library with links to social media and the libraryโ€™s calendar of events.

โ€œWe are very excited to offer our new app,โ€ stated County Librarian Nick Wilczek. โ€œWe are constantly seeking ways to improve our service to the community. This app enables library users to access library resources and information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from the convenience of their phone.โ€

Further information about the appโ€™s features can be found on the Libraryโ€™s website at www.mynevadacounty.com/library. The app can be downloaded for free and works on iPhones, iPads, and Android devices.
