Nevada City, Calif.February 1, 2021 – The Nevada County Community Library launches a new mobile app on February 1, 2021 that gives library users fast and easy access to an array of library resources. The app provides a simple and streamlined interface to search the library catalog, place items on hold, check due dates, and renew items.
The free app also serves as a one-stop entryway to several of the library’s most popular online services for ebooks, downloadable audiobooks, digital magazines, and streaming videos. Users can stay connected to the library with links to social media and the library’s calendar of events.
“We are very excited to offer our new app,” stated County Librarian Nick Wilczek. “We are constantly seeking ways to improve our service to the community. This app enables library users to access library resources and information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from the convenience of their phone.”
Further information about the app’s features can be found on the Library’s website at www.mynevadacounty.com/library. The app can be downloaded for free and works on iPhones, iPads, and Android devices.
