November 20, 2017 – The all-volunteer staff at the Nevada County Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum has been busy preparing for Santa’s visit to their annual Christmas celebration, to be held this year on Saturday, December 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
With twinkling lights, festive decorations, and multiple Christmas trees in place, the museum is ready to welcome visitors to the event which includes a silent auction, door prizes for the children, a raffle and refreshments. Weather permitting, free rides on the popular Railbus will also be available. Of course, the highlight of the day is the opportunity for children to chat with Santa while their parents take pictures. Admission is free.
The NCNGRR Museum also features a gift shop that is well stocked with items for holiday shopping that are sure to appeal to train enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
