NEVADA CITY, Calif. January 31, 2020 – Public officials are required to take an ethics training course to learn about the ethical standards required of any individual who works in government. City, County and District board members and staff who receive compensation or expense reimbursement must complete two hours of ethics training every two years.

Individuals who are not required to take this training are nonetheless encouraged to attend to promote the highest standards of ethical practice in public service.
