GRASS VALLEY, CA – When three long-standing advocates for organic and biodynamic living come together, the result is something worth raising a glass to. Frey Vineyards (Redwood Valley, CA), Ukiah Natural Foods Co-op (Ukiah, CA) and BriarPatch Food Co-op (Grass Valley & Auburn, CA) have partnered to create a new private label wine line, Rally, that debuted on Earth Day, April 22, 2026.
Crafted in Mendocino County by Frey Vineyards—the first organic and biodynamic winery in the United States—Rally wines reflect decades of commitment to environmentally responsible farming and thoughtful winemaking. The Rally lineup includes a red blend, white blend and lightly sparkling frizzante rosé, all made with 100% estate-grown grapes.
Each wine is certified Demeter Biodynamic®, USDA Organic and CCOF Organic, as well as non-GMO and vegan-friendly. Produced with native yeast and no added sugar, the wines are designed to express the purity of the vineyard and the character of the region with minimal intervention.
The Rally label was born from a shared vision among the three companies: to create a wine that celebrates community, collaboration and a resilient future. Inspired by gathering around the table, the wines are approachable, food-friendly and rooted in the values that have guided each organization for decades.
