PLACER COUNTY – Caltrans is alerting State Route 49 (SR-49) motorists of upcoming overnight highway closures south of Auburn between Lincoln Way and Old Foresthill Road for paving work.
Between 6 p.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday, August 7 and Monday, August 8, SR-49 will be closed to traffic for paving operations. Motorists will be detoured around the highway closure via Lincoln Way, Foresthill Road and Old Foresthill Road. Motorist should allow for an additional 15 minutes of travel time during the paving work.
