Patti Ingram-Spencer vs. City of Grass Valley and Natalie Adona, Nevada County Registrar of Voters, a case that challenged the results of Measure B, has been dismissed with prejudice. The matter is resolved and may not be put before the court again.

Measure B was a tax measure placed on the ballot by the City of Grass Valley. It was approved by 20 votes in the March 5, 2024 Presidential Primary Election.
Ms. Ingram-Spencerโ€™s decision not to move forward with her complaint affirms the legitimacy of our officeโ€™s processes for conducting free and fair elections in Nevada County, which includes voter registration list maintenance.

Throughout this case, Nevada County Elections gladly cooperated with all document requests and took care to ensure that everyone involved understood our officeโ€™s duties to voters.
