AUBURN, Calif. (April 17, 2026) — The Placer County Water Agency (PCWA) Board of Directors is accepting applications from qualified candidates to fill a vacancy on the Board representing District 1, which includes most of the City of Roseville and portions of unincorporated west Placer County.
The vacancy follows the retirement of longtime Board Member Graham “Gray” Allen, effective April 15, 2026. The individual appointed by the Board will serve the remainder of the unexpired term through December 4, 2026.
In accordance with state law, the Board intends to fill the vacancy by appointment during its May 11, 2026 meeting, held at 12:30 p.m. at the PCWA Business Center in Auburn.
To be eligible, candidates must be at least 18 years of age, a U.S. citizen, and a registered voter residing within PCWA District 1. The selected candidate will participate in Board meetings, establish assessments, rates and charges, and make decisions related to the Agency’s policies related to water and energy.
Interested individuals are invited to submit a letter of interest that includes their name, residential address, contact information, confirmation of eligibility, qualifications, and responses to supplemental questions provided by the Agency, which are available on the PCWA website at pcwa.net.
