On Sunday Apr 26, 2026 at 4 pm, there will be a presentation and discussion about our choices of what we buy, where we bank, and how we invest—and how those choices affect our environment and the planet.
Citizens often wonder what they can do as individuals to help with climate change; at this presentation you will find some answers.
The presentation, which is sponsored by the Nevada City United Methodist Church, will be given by Eric Jorgensen. Eric is a retired educator and climate activist who has devoted many years to unraveling the complex relationships between the petroleum industry, our financial decisions, and climate change.

Please join us on Sunday afternoon, Apr 26, 4pm in the NC United Methodist Church sanctuary (433 Broad St, NC).
Then after the presentation, we will gather downstairs in the Fellowship Hall for snacks and Q and A.
