December 4, 2018 – In June of this year Investigators from the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Task Force served a search warrant at 18332 Lawrence Way in Grass Valley. During the execution of that warrant, investigators began to question the whereabouts of the homeowner, Donald J. Nader, age 48. A subsequent investigation has failed to reveal Mr. Nader’s whereabouts. Detectives have since interviewed Nader’s family, close friends and neighbors. The last reported sighting of Nader was back in the late summer/early fall of 2016. The circumstances under which Mr. Nader went missing are being treated as suspicious.
On Monday December 3rd, 2018 detectives from the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office served a criminal search warrant at Mr. Nader’s residence, 18332 Lawrence Way in Grass Valley, in order to determine whether a crime has been committed and to search for further evidence as to whether Mr. Nader is simply missing or has been a victim of foul play.
