September 10, 2018 – Cooler temperatures, along with locally breezy to gusty winds expected across interior NorCal this week as a low pressure system deepens along the West Coast. Gusty winds over the Sierra will increase the potential for fire starts and spread Tuesday into Wednesday. Temperatures will be 5 to 15 degrees below normal this week, followed by slightly warmer temperatures this weekend. Dry weather is expected, although a few mountain showers could develop over the northwestern portions of Shasta Co on Wednesday.
