July 22, 2017 – The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a Red Flag Warning for thunderstorms and strong outflow winds, which is in effect from 3 PM Sunday to midnight PDT Sunday night.
Isolated wet and dry thunderstorms are expected for Sunday afternoon and evening. Any dry lightning strikes may cause new wildfires in the area.
Outflow winds up to 50 mph.
