Nevada County, CA (March 7, 2024) – Sierra Harvest is bringing back Soup Night! The treasured community event that supports our farming community and features locally made, farm-fresh soup and bread. Known for bringing farmers and their community together over a warm bowl of soup, this event took a hiatus during the pandemic and now Sierra Harvest is bringing it back with some added twists.
The location has changed, but some things stay the same. It is a Soup Night tradition to bring your own bowls and utensils, so be sure to pack a set (or two!). This year, Sierra Harvest will host this family-friendly event at the Nevada County Fairgrounds Northern Mines Building and feature live music from duo Gabriel Bingham and Kyle Kunert of the popular local band Caltucky.
Enjoy a Friday night out with the kids! Show your support for local food producers by enjoying all-you-can-eat soup featuring locally sourced ingredients from farms like Super Tuber Farm and created by local Chef Antonio Ayestaran and BriarPatch Food Co-Op. Beverages are available for additional purchase from Three Forks Bakery & Brewing. While you are there, be sure to connect with vendors and local farmers to sign up for this yearโs CSA to receive beautiful produce this farming season. Tickets are $20 and kids under 12 eat free.
