Nevada County, CA — As winter storms descend on Nevada County, Sierra Roots is calling on community members to donate new or gently used waterproof boots for unhoused neighbors in Nevada County. With cold nights and wet conditions on the rise, boots are fast becoming a lifeline.
What We’re Collecting:
New or gently used men’s waterproof winter boots, with the highest need in sizes 9–12.

Now through the winter season.

Why:
Each donated pair will be distributed through Sierra Roots’ Emergency Weather-Shelter and weekly lunch program, providing immediate benefit to local unhoused community members.
