North Lake Tahoe/Truckee, October 21, 2020 – The Sierra State Parks Foundation has joined forces with our local artist community for a unique Bear Box Art Fundraiser with the goal of raising funds to support the Foundation’s mission, supporting our local artists and art scene, and beautifying Lake Tahoe one bear box at a time.
For a donation of $500, the Sierra State Parks Foundation will match you with one of our partnered artists and help facilitate having one side of your bear box painted in the style of your choosing. Three hundred dollars of each donation will go directly to the Sierra State Parks Foundation who provide funding to eight California State Parks at Lake Tahoe and Donner Lake.

This is a rolling fundraiser that will also be available next spring and summer, once the snow clears. This would make a wonderful holiday gift with a lasting impact to our valuable local state parks. To learn more and sign up, visit the Foundations website at: www.SierraStateParks.org.
The Sierra State Parks Foundation believes the Lake Tahoe and Truckee area California State Parks are unique treasures worthy of our support.
