NEVADA CITY, Calif. July 30, 2017 – Smoke from several wildfires in Northern California is making its way to the Foothills and the northern Central Valley.
Overnight winds out of the northwest carried driftsmoke from the Orleans Complex, the Modoc July Complex and now the Minerva Fire near Quincy into our area.
At this time, there are no reported large wildfires in our immediate vicinity. However, any fire starts in the next few days have the potential to grow fast due to low afternoon
humidity with poor to moderate overnight recovery. Please be safe outdoors.
