Grass Valley, CA November 9, 2021 – Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation’s (SNMHF) wildly popular and fun Buy It Now phone in event is back and bigger than ever! Just in time for the gift-giving season, this unique fundraiser offers an opportunity for participants to obtain some truly unique holiday gifts by calling SNMHF on Thursday, November 11 at 8 a.m. and saying “I want to buy it now!”

Buy It Now options include a two night stay in a Downieville cabin, a locally crafted fourteen karat and Akoya pearl necklace from Stucki Jewelers, Sugarbowl ski lift passes, pontoon boat rentals, a Mexican fiesta dinner for 20 at a private home, two night stay at the Cottage Inn on the west shore of Lake Tahoe, gift certificates to a variety of local restaurants and stores, a farm tour with a picnic lunch, and much, much more!
For those that are not familiar with Buy It Now, it is not an auction. On November 11 at precisely 8:00 a.m., if you see something you want, call and say I want to Buy it Now! Items remain available until sold and are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can pay with a credit card over the phone or make arrangements to get us a check for your purchase.

This year’s Buy It Now proceeds are being directed to help purchase new surgical equipment for Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. Fundraising activities, including Buy It Now, will focus on a goal to raise $350,000 by June 30th. The equipment will benefit those needing general or emergency surgery, are having women’s health issues, need surgery to deliver a baby, have breast cancer, or suffer with ear, nose and throat concerns. To date, we are about 25 % of the way to our goal.
