PENN VALLEY, Calif. August 12, 2017 – This afternoon at approximately 2:30 P.M. the Penn Valley Fire Protection District responded to a structure fire in the 19000 block of Bald Eagle Dr.
The address was difficult to enter and narrow, but fire units were successful in making access and made a fast attack.
First arriving units found a room and contents fire and confined the loss to the room of origin. The residence sustained smoke damage but no further fire damage.
There were no injuries. The cause was accidental.
The Penn Valley Fire Protection District was assisted by engines from the Grass Valley Fire Department, Rough and Ready Fire District and CAL FIRE.
