Last night at 10:15 PM numerous Peardale Chicago Park Fire units along with other fire agencies assisted Ophir Hill Fire Department with a residential structure fire in the 1100 Block of Sundown Place.
One firefighter was evaluated at scene for an injury by Sierra Nevada Medics but the firefighter was released back to duty at the incident.
This incident required a large amount of water and aggressive fire attack to get a knock down on the fire, as well as extensive mop-up operations.
