CHICAGO PARK September 27, 2018 – Coming fast on the heels of other high-profile endorsements, Chris Bierwagen announced today that he has received the endorsement of Nevada County 4th District Supervisor Hank Weston in his campaign to replace incumbent John Drew on the Nevada Irrigation District (NID) Board of Directors.

“I’m endorsing Chris Bierwagen for Nevada Irrigation District Division 2 because I know his commitment to serving his community,” stated Supervisor Hank Weston.  “Chris Bierwagen served in the United States Navy, he served as a volunteer fire fighter and as volunteer fire chief. He has served on the Fire District Board of Directors and in each case, spent years of his life protecting and serving our community. As the former Grass Valley Fire Chief, that tells me a lot.  I know we can trust Chris to put the long-term welfare of our communities first,” concluded Weston.

“I’m grateful to have earned the trust and support of Supervisor Hank Weston,” stated Bierwagen.  “Hank is a great example to me, having spent his career as a senior fire safety official and as a policy maker, he has always been someone I look up to in public service.  “I am excited to have his endorsement.”

A life-long resident of Nevada County, Chris Bierwagen is a farmer and regional Ag leader seeking election to the Nevada Irrigation District Division 2 currently represented by John Drew, who is retiring at the end of this term. For more information please visit www.ChrisBierwagen.com.
