NORTH SAN JUAN, Calif. January 30, 2019 – Sweetland Garden Mercantile and Mud and Pearls have partnered up, and will be hosting homesteading skill classes throughout 2019.
The line up includes classic Mud and Pearls events such as their Women’s Chainsaw workshop and Sweetland’s ever popular Compost Tea class.
Most of the events will be held on Saturday mornings at Sweetland Garden Mercantile’s beautiful new building in downtown North San Juan, and cover the spectrum from woodworking to soil biology.
Registration for the classes is required, interested students can register directly at Sweetland Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Students can also follow Mud and Pearls on Facebook for upcoming classes. For more information or to register, call (530)292-9000.

Sat, Feb 9: Blacksmithing with Eric Clausen
Sat, Feb 23: Women’s Chainsaw with Amber Cone 1-5pm ($65, bring a saw if you have one)
Wed, March 10: Irrigation Design & Troubleshooting with Mike Puetz 5 pm-7 pm
Sat, Mar 16: Soil Amending
Sat, April 27: Soil Amending with Dar
Sat, May 18: Compost Tea
Sat, June 22: Compost Tea with Dar
Sat, Sept 7: Canning with Cirrus
Sat, Sept 21: Women’s Woodshop ($75 plus materials)
Sat, Nov 16: Women’s Chainsaw with Amber Cone 1-5pm ($65, bring a saw if you have one)
