Based on the success of the last Tails with Nevada County drop-in “puppy hour” we held in January, we are doing another one!
This is a new monthly pilot program aimed at socializing shelter animals and promoting adoptions with our shelter partner Sammie’s Friends. This month, the event is co-hosted by our Assessor, Rolf Kleinhans.
The public is invited to join us for a drop-in meet & greet in front of the Eric Rood Government Center (950 Maidu Ave., Nevada City) on Friday, Feb. 27, from 1-2 p.m.

The featured dogs are Ferrara and Rocher, who can be adopted individually or as a pair. These are just two of the many dogs currently looking for their forever homes.
View all adoptable animals at www.sammiesfriends.org/adopt. Sammie’s Friends is also offering a $5 adoption special all month long.
