The Center for the Arts is pleased to announce that their 2024 Spring Fundraising Drive has secured $25,000 Challenge Match. From now until May 31st, every dollar raised will be matched up to $25,000.
The Center for the Arts is grateful to the anonymous donors who are willing to match their community’s generosity. Your donations keep the art gallery open and free to the public, offer free Family Fun Days, provide Youth Arts scholarships to families in need, and bring world-class artists to Nevada County.
As The Center continues to grow and evolve in its programming, they remain committed to fostering a vibrant and engaged community. Unfortunately, ticket sales only cover 60% of The Centers’ operation costs, which is why this challenge match is essential to their fundraising efforts.
“Membership at The Center is not just about joining a community, it’s about unlocking opportunities, unleashing potential, and achieving our goal to bring art and music to this region together,” said Amber Jo Manuel, the Executive Director of The Center for the Arts. “We believe that our Members Do It Better by keeping music, art, and theater alive in our community. This Spring, we ask you to consider donating because every dollar given goes twice as far.”
