Saturday a protest and food drive took place in the Brunswick Basin, organized by Indivisible Nevada County. Here are photos of the event.
Indivisible Nevada County stated in their event announce, “This protest is about demanding accountability, justice, and peace. We are calling on Congress, the administration, and all those in power to follow the law, respect human lives, and serve the public—not their own agendas.”
Crowd estimates range from 1,000 to 1,200 participants. No accidents, incidents or large numbers of counter-protestors were reported.
