GRASS VALLEY, Calif. August 11, 2026 – Remember 2006? Google bought YouTube, Twitter and Facebook opened to the general public, Pluto was demoted from a planet to a dwarf planet. On a more positive note, adult general admission tickets to the Nevada County Fair were $5 each. We can’t put the social media genie back in the bottle, but thanks to the Nevada County Fairgrounds, today you can grab a ticket to the 2026 Nevada County Fair for $5 at the box office from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

To recap, pick up your ticket in person at the Fair’s box office today between 8-5, use the promo code YubaNet and your ticket price will be $5. While you’re there, look out at the Gold Path and remember the Fair starts tomorrow, Wednesday at 10:00 am.
